Timing
This is obviously related to #1, but for now let's set the plan to 2.5 days. (I'm basing this on input from Tom and Chase.)
Format: 4 hours teaching a day combined with 1 or 2 "lab" hours, where participants do exercises and we give individual help. Plus maybe some overnight assignment work.
On the third day (the half day) we can run for a couple hours on some more specialized topics, such as dolo / QuantEcon.
@cc7768 @albop @mmcky Please see above and if you don't mind please watch the repo.
My current understanding is that the workshop will start May 23rd, Monday. For Monday and Tuesday we could perhaps adopt some version of the following schedule suggested by Chase:
- 9am-11am first lecture
- 11am - 12 study lab
- 12 - 1pm break
- 1pm - 3pm second lecture
- 3 - 4pm study lab
For Wed we can run 9am till noon, say.
