Microsoft recently announced that the LSP Tools Host. What impact does this have on this concrete library. Will this ...

  1. closed-sourcing include this library
  2. will this library continue being developed as an open source (aka. not being abondonware)
  3. will the language server host use this library?

I, too, would like to know the answers to these questions. I wouldn't say the project is dead though as quite a few highly-consumed projects use this library as a dependency currently.
