This would be so awesome 🙏 GIFs in GitHub are the biggest thing I miss since I switched to Safari!

Hi @tobiasbueschel! Unfortunately, the main blocker for moving forward with this PR is the ongoing cost associated with joining the Apple Developer Program to publish the extension 😞 It's 99USD per year for an Apple Developer Program account, compared to a one-off $5 cost for a Chrome Extension.
