Not clear how or where you'd create custom components and how to reference them inside django templates. A default vite project comes with some additional directories and files:

public src/assets src/App.jsx ...

Me and others would appreciated a little more complete example project.

Please let me know if you figure this out. I'm also having some difficulty understanding it and find it not very clear.
