It seems that it's stuck at removing core

Open Cobesz opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

Just did a fresh install of ubuntu 22.04 and it removed the following: gnome-3-38-2004 snap-store gtk-common-themes bare

After that it's stuck. It seems that core and core20 are still left

hmmm, two cores? that seems strange.

It is "normal" ubuntu or a flavour?

Same issue ATM. Hung on core after removing core20 and core18. Standard Ubuntu 22.04 (just upgraded from 21.10).

$ snap list Name Version Rev Tracking Publisher Notes core 16-2.56.2 13425 latest/stable canonical✓ core

$ snap remove --purge core error: cannot remove "core": snap "core" is not removable: snap is used by the model

OK. Will make test in both a fresh installation of Ubuntu 22.04 and one upgraded from 21.10 to 22.04.

FWIW core and the remaining snap junk seem to have been cleaned out by continuing with:

$ sudo apt autoremove --purge snapd

Log available if it is of interest. Thanks!

Gonna test this quickly in a fresh VM and then see if this can be closed.
