How would you normally control them in Home Assistant? What service call would you use?
Out of curiosity, would you mind saying what kind of things you would put in a room/area card? Personally I would want controllable lights, temperature/humidity, templatable text, and custom entities.

I feel like this could be fixed with a [template fan](https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/fan.template/), to merge the entities together.
