KMG Capture: Guide button on Xbox 360 controller doesn't work

The issue is that when one is using KMG Capture mode the Guide button in the Xbox 360 controller doesn't work (video attached below where the Guide button is not recognized on the Device Monitor tab when KGM Capture is running, Select and Start are fine), so one cannot use any setting on the Xbox 360 or PS3 consoles for example, quit any games, navigate back to the dashboard, etc. It's quite limiting.

Not sure if it's related to anything in Windows itself as I found this other app which mentioned that was listening to that Guide button specifically. I just tested it and that one works, as in... the Guide button is detected by that XboxExt.exe app whereas Device Monitor still doesn't realized that we've pressed it.
