Hello, I want ask what's the different between other folders?? like Misc data and Full -d and also the different between multi and multiclass 21 and 21 FS. Thankyou!

Hi,

Full is the complete set of original nsl kdd data, with multiple classes and therefore not binary classification.

The original dataset has the 21 version, please refer to the creators' research paper to understand. FS denotes feature selected.

You can refer to my research papers as well for more detail on the feature selection.

Hi, I am doing my masters project in "Supervise Machine Learning to Detect Network Attacks" using these datasets. I've downloaded all four files and also run in WEKA, but I am confuse to choose the FS folder or other one? As I've created 2 separate folder for both FS and simple datasets and run about 9 different algorithms. If we talk about the results there is slightly difference between the results of both folders. please guide me which datasets to choose for my Project thanks in advance.
