Add rosetta item when running translated

Open scaryrawr opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Description

This adds a rosetta item. When added to the prompt, it checks if running we are running translated (x86_64 emulation on arm64 on Apple Silicon).

It'll show ï’¼ x86_64 when added and running translated.

Motivation and Context

When looking into game porting toolkit, there is an optional guide of having both x86 and arm64 homebrew installed.

When running fish using:

arch -x86_64 /usr/bin/local/fish

It doesn't have a visual indicator by default that you're not in native fish.

Screenshots (if appropriate)

When using set --prepend tide_left_prompt_items rosetta with base16 colors translated: terminal has x86_64 shown when running fish in rosetta

Not translated: terminal has no indicator when running native
