I don't know. I've had good results with pull requests to other Open Source projects in the past. But I'm not a type geek; I don't speak the language fluently so I might not write a good pull request the way I can do in C. I mean...strokes and hinting and page colour...I'd want to go read Knuth's book (Metafont) first to learn how to design characters to fit the spirit of the typeface.

GNU Unifont provides full coverage of the Unicode 8.0 Basic Mulitlingual Plane (BMP).
I hand drew the icons in the somewhat esoteric format required.
