there is no way to open app with keyboard shortcut - It really slows down my work process with the app

the reason is I do not use menubar and dock in my workflow - https://i.imgur.com/3TiH5CD.png

so in the end I use all apps with keyboard shortcuts - https://i.imgur.com/tGsCea0.png - all of those apps has this feature//

They are not customisable at the moment, but that's in the roadmap. If you talking about the actual shortcut to open the popover – this feels excessive, but we can implement it once customisable ones are ready, so everyone can enable / disable it as they wish.

Hidden bonus: you can use spacebar to start the actual recording when the selection is made.
