Edit prevented while gif is rendering

Hi there,

Currently after you record, you have to wait until it finishes rendering the gif, but sometimes I want to jump right away to trimming the gif. Is there any way to add a way to exit the rendering, or jump to the edit menu while the rendering is happening.

Thanks for creating the separate issue for that. There isn't at the moment but as you might have noticed there's the new UI (covered in #177) and renaming is the first step in this series of improvements. Cancelling export, any-time editing and extended media details are coming up in next releases.
