Feature Request: add annotations

It would be great to add annotations to the recorded GIF, e.g.

  • arrows
  • text
  • forms (rectangles, circles, ...)

Not as good as hoped… ☹️ For the past few month we were mainly focused on 2.2.0 release, which landed yesterday for direct-download version (App Store and Setapp are coming shortly) and addresses several critical issues and improvements. There are a few more important items in the frontlog, which we need to push before moving on to this. This is still a priority task, but will have to wait until other things run smoothly for everyone. Sorry for the wait!
