Frustrating

The extension just shows a black box - no instruction guide - requested Pro Trial no difference. Maybe it simply doesn't work on a Chromebook

Hi @MLiedl, I haven't test Link Map on Chromebook. But I'd like to figure out the root cause of this case. According to the screenshot you supplied, Link Map didn't get any Window or Tab from Browser. Because I have no Chromebook on hand, so could your please try to recovery it by following steps:

  1. Uninstall Link Map
  2. Open at least one tab in browser, and keep it open.
  3. Install Link Map, and open it.
  4. If Link Map still displays like it used to be, please open the devtool, select the console section. And if you could share the input of the console, I will be grateful.

And Could you please tell me which browser do you use? Is that just in Chrome?

Hi Garin, Weekend and I had some time to follow your suggestions.

  1. I removed the extension2. from Chrome Store I re-installed the extension while I had more than one window open and this is what I get:

So first impression, it seems loaded properly. Now I will put it under stress and let you know what I think about it. Thanks for now Michael PS   By the way, Chromebooks have only Chrome. It can also easily run Android Apps (eg I have Whats App running on the Chromebook). I have also tried to run Linux, but I will use it only if I have to. Chromebooks are inherently more secure when you travel internet websites - practically everything is sandboxed automatically. It is excellent (and cheaper) for non-It members of the family - autoupdates, higher malware security, low background operating system task running. A practical solution that will find more favor, so you should think about making sure your extension is Chromebook compatible.

If you need me to test anything just let me know.
