Plans for adding feature actions to widgets?

Are there any plans for scaffolding out feature actions for widgets (introduced in 2.1)? It's complicated enough that I don't see that as part of the regular widget scaffolding. It might work better as a :featureAction generator.

If there are no immediate plans, I'll see what I can do.
