Current behavior

The test comparer are not showing the text diff. There is no highlight or anything to show the diff of it.

Also can't select text in the input boxes, or paste to it with the keyboard shortcut instead of clicking the "paste" button (on an M1 Mac, if relevant).

I think it might be related to light/dark mode. By toggling between Light and Dark and restarting the app a bunch, I've gotten it to work. Not sure if it's coincidence or not

I follow your steps and it did works. And to use the diff just make sure before using it need toggle Light and Dark mode. If after open and immediately open text comparer and use it, it will not work after that. Need to exit and toggle first before use.

No change in Version 2.0-preview.8 Switching between light and dark had no effect. Image

Mac M4 Pro OS 15.1 installed via brew install --cask devtoys

Been forced to use the archived https://github.com/DevToys-app/DevToysMac for year(s) because of this

Feature is completely unusable at the moment:

  • Diff doesn't show up
  • App starts to freeze soon when I try to make this work

Please, triage this issue 🙏
