when i boot the usb (a framework ssd expansion) i get invalid arch-independent ELF magic and boot into grub rescue. i tried the suggested reinstalling grub method but it had no effect. im not sure how to proceed.

oh also im following using a manjaro / windows dual boot (both on internal ssd partitions). no sure whether this is important

also tried to install edk2 to build from source but kinda confused by it 😵‍💫

Can you clarify which of the projects from this repository you're using? GRUB is not involved in any of them, so this might help narrow down where your bug lies. :smile:

im trying to use the ectool.efi, extracted to a framework ssd expansion (at fat32)
