Either an anvil, a barbell or a ⚖ scale weight symbolizes heavy in opposition to a light feather #149. An anvil also symbolizes blacksmiths. In Western cartoons, an anvil is sometiems dropped on a character's head either for comic effect or to symbolize failure or depression.

I've had moments where I expected to have an anvil emoji. It being a very recognizable thing in pop culture, history and even in modern day.
