Washington state discrepancies
This data set shows decreasing numbers of cases over the last week for Washington state, but the latest cumulative case count matches the state's. I suspect the state's capturing something on an audit but has a back distribution for their own data available at least at a state level.
For example, Washington's says its case total as of Feb. 12 is 1,394,846, vs. 1,410,596 in this data set.

My apologies -- this is at least a partial repeat of https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/issues/5430
Hi @stucka - thank you very much for raising this issue! We can confirm that WA back distributes their data despite the x-axis of the cumulative graph being labelled "Case Report Date". This has caused us trouble in the past.
We have reached out to the state for comment regarding the negative daily changes in statewide cumulative case counts. Within our dataset, we can confirm that we observed negative daily changes in cases in seven counties on Feb 14, four counties on Feb 16, and nine counties on Feb 18 - these are available in the daily reports. We will update this issue when we have further information.
