Warning systems
- Add some way to warn of approaching missiles which use active tracking + give it a penalty. Mass?
- Add some other way of warning against all missiles + give it a disproportionately larger penalty. Ties into countermeasures.
- Stretch goal: system tech levels, allowing finer information for larger penalties.
I'm wary of making an entity for this because people will probably just dodge the restrictions and penalties with E2. That's a general problem when it comes to ideas like this. Thoughts?
Perhaps use some sort of proximity detector for the warning system, larger proximity range, more mass or perhaps use battery entities that consume energy? (Range vs Energy usage ratio?)
That would be nice, and it'd also be a nice reason for someone to sidestep the downsides by making a E2 which only does the good stuff. To create something that we can enforce balance upon, we need to offer something which simply isn't possible or simply isn't as good otherwise.
