The issue you're describing is not related to `displaylink-debian`. I would suggest asking on the displaylink forums or on the appropriate stackoverflow.
Please clone/download the entire repo to avoid issues like this.
Can you try replacing your current config with this: ``` Section "OutputClass" Identifier "DisplayLink" MatchDriver "evdi" Driver "modesetting" Option "AccelMethod" "none" EndSection ```
What is the content of `/var/log/displaylink/evdi_install_make.2023-03-20-1802.log`?
Should be resolved with latest release.
