Use wlan at home and Hotspot elsewhere

Hi,

I tried to install the AirPlay Receiver with the Access Point a few times but I can't see the Hotspot with any Device. Do I have to do the installation via wlan or lan to succed or should it work both ways ?

Is it possible to use the wlan at home as primary connection and if that wlan isn't accessible the hotspot can be used ? Or do I have to choose between those 2 modes ?

Hey Markus, it would be possible, but currently I am working on Feature Parity as we transition the install to ansible, once we have feature parity I will begin working on future features as well.

The install should work either way, but I believe with the latest OS this feature has been broken. I haven't tested, but is one of the reasons we are moving to something less fragile such as ansible.
