Not able to listen to audio on rpi-w

Open akshitgandhi opened this issue 7 years ago • 1 comments

I am using Raspbian Stretch-Lite and for the audio output, I am using a speaker and Adafruit MAX98357 I2S amplifier. I went through the stretch installation process and my phone is able to connect to the pi but I cannot listen to songs on the speaker and also not through the phone inbuilt speaker. Earlier I used to get audio output through speaker-test without sudo but now I get permission-denied error! but with sudo I can listen to the speaker-test. Please help me in finding out what is wrong.

Are you playing music view bluetooth or airplay? If you are using another sound card you may need a to change the audio_sink numnber in /usr/local/bin/bluez-udev
