@jarkko I might be experiencing a similar issue. How do you know if a lock is still "in tact". Is there a method call?

Did you ever find a solution to this? It seems to me that the locks are not getting released if the Sidekiq box is restarted.. I'm using "until_and_while_executing", not sure...
