Obviously, first thing I went to do was break the site. You've fixed the latex in the name which was good for disabling LaTeX names that would non-stop crash the room.

Ouch, I wasn't actually aware KaTeX had things like \rule, \\[100em], and in the future, \hspace, \kern, and \def. I'll voice my opinion on the KaTeX issue.

its not rly a problem when ppl are writing that kind of stuff you can use the "clear chat" option in the sidebar

Um, I can crash the browser and disable the ability to clear the chat. I believe that's a problem.

Temporary hotfix in a22aa83c02784ff19e4682a707c0de8dc3931228. It would be nice to have an official solution from KaTeX though, so I'll keep this issue open.
