It would be a great option if we could set the tooltip to only show if the content overflows its container.

I can see myself doing this as a sibling package to not bloat the core one.

Woudln't that be a bit overkill? I've made a dirty workaround but doing this from the library through a flag shouldn't be too bloaty I don't think
