Some shortcuts are not macOS-friendly

I use macOS with a trackpad, and apparently some shortcuts cannot be used. These are the ones I have found, but there may be others:

  1. Alt+Wheel to scale thumbnails;
  2. Ctrl-LMB to drag the page content vertically: pressing Ctrl and the trackpad is equivalent to Right-click.

Are there workarounds for these? Or may such shortcuts be configured, perhaps at source code level (I am building ScanTailor from source)?

Using ScanTailor 1.0.16 on macOS 10.13.6.

Try to use Meta key instead of Ctrl, i. e. Meta+LMB to drag the page content vertically.
