Feedback about curation-in-annotation view
Hi, I'm opening a blank issue because I want to give you some feedback about the curation-in-annotation view.
We haven't started using it yet, I just showed to our annotators and while I while demonstrating it, I recorded a couple of comments:
-
when the curation is performed from multiple users, it would be great to have different colours, instead of relying on the pop-up box that is shown when hovering on the annotation.
-
right now, when a user select to do "curation in annotation", it has basically to manually "confirm" all the annotations from the fellow annotator. Would perhaps be useful to have a button that will update the current "curator" document up-to-date, by importing all the annotations in the current document
Please let me know if you have questions Regards
Cool, keep it comming :)
In the "old" curation view, we have an option to right-click on an annotation of a given user and that brings up the option to merge all annotations of that type from that user. Shouldn't be hard to add that to the "new" curation as well.
@reckart thanks. Indeed the merge-all is useful.
One thing, if I may add, is that is not always clear for a user whether he can do curation-in-annotation, because someone else has to "finish" one document. Not sure if there is a solution for that.
Would be possible to have the curation-in-annotation also for users that are not marked as annotators?
Sorry, I need some clarification. Which role would the user have that should be able to use the curation sidebar?
Currently, the user needs to have "annotator" role to be able to open the annotator panel and, find the curation sidebar. Although a user which is "curator" should be able to do the same. This indeed seems a quite big change perhaps.
