Ability to compare user annotations with annotations in curated documents
I've been using a lot the curation workflow in INCEpTIOn in the last months, and one use case that frequently reappears is the need to share with our annotators the "corrections" that were done in the curation phase.
Is it already possible to do this in INCEpTION? If not, I think it'd be a very valuable feature. The annotators can learn a lot from their mistakes (or inconsistencies) that are usually corrected at curation time.
There is no such feature right now. But it is a good suggestion.
+1 for this feature! Would this be released anytime soon?
You can enable the curation sidebar on the annotation page via curation.sidebar.enabled=true. After that, users that have the "curator" role in a project can open the sidebar and use it to superimpose the annotations of other users onto their own.
Does that address your need? If not, what do you need?
Just finished reviewing this. This doesn't really answer my needs as the annotators can't see the final annotations as the curator did them.
What we need is a way for the annotator to review where the curator and they disagree.
I believe the sidebar right now offers to superimpose the annotations of regular users - so what you'd need is the ability to superimpose the annotation of the virtual "CURATION_USER"?
