cant get Media converter to work at all
Hi I have been using Media converter on win 7 in firefox for years with no problem, I now have a new PC win 11, and downloaded the extension to firefox, but when I open the Media Converter, Settings is highlighted but I cant select anything else as all greyed out.I even downloaded Media Converter to Edge, & Chrome and have the same problem, I downloaded the Windows.zip file, and ran it, and confirmed this file , and I also have FFmpeg on my PC. Can you please advise what I need to do to get this Media Converter working on this new PC. Regards John
Most likely you have installed wrong version of the native client. Please visit https://add0n.com/media-converter.html for more info.
Hi Thanks for the quick reply, I clicked the link you sent but could not find how to install the native client, not even in the video.
On my version of the app it shows native client as 1.0.4.
Please see attached screenshot showing Settings highlighted but all other commands greyed out.
I can modify the fields but after no green Tick to save when click on the Tick
Please help.

You need native client less than 1.0.0. Currently it is 1.0.4. Use https://github.com/andy-portmen/native-client/releases/download/0.9.7/windows.zip
Download the archive. Extract it and press the install.bat
