Gmail™ Notifier for Firefox not longer playing sounds or alerting me to new emails

Hello,

Gmail Notifier for Firefox is no longer alerting me to new emails or playing sounds. There was always a number of emails that was visible as a badge and now it is just blue. No number of emails at all. Enable notifications for session is checked. Settings are at default. Version 1.1.4
