Gmail Notifier doesn't work with container tabs in firefox

I just tested Gmail Notifier with container tabs in firefox version 61.0.1. Gmail Notifier version is 0.9.3. It couldn't detect gmail accounts opened in container tab. If I open a container tab and access https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/feed/atom/inbox, the feeds will display. It just won't display on a regular tab. So is it possible to have Gmail Notifier support container tabs? Thanks.

Glad I searched for this enhancement, almost posted it myself. Yes it unfortunately forces you to login to your Google account in the default container for the extension to work.

I use containers for *.google.com and can't compromise on that (security, privacy). So I use https://github.com/xavierfoucrier/gmail-notifier to check my email. I still leave ignotifier installed because I think it's excellent and got used to the button to open my email that I leave it enabled with a 9999 second check timer.

Using a standalone checker is a temporary workaround, but I would also like to see an option in here to specify the container you'd like to check.
