When I open Firefox for first time, Gmail Notifier opens.

I've used Gmail Notifier for years now. I just did a recovery on my laptop. I didn't change anything with GN. Now whenever I open Firefox, the GN opens up in a different tab. How do I stop this from happening? Thanks
