I'd like to be able to build 32bit linux cores again. Whoever can make this happen and wants to do some manual buildbot work with us, let's meet please on...

I will have to think some more about this. I think it'd be a fundamental mistake to start dirtying up the codebase with all sorts of ifdefs for certain controllers....

Yes, I think a mixing and matching of the best ideas of the garbear PR together with yours could prove to be key in creating the final solution to this...

I'm fine with libco alternatives being available in libretro-common.
