powermail-extension field not shown

hello,

we see report's that our powermail-extension, does not showup as a "field" in the dropdown. tried using ddev and various other ways - it seems to generally work.

has anyone a hint how i can further debug this, or what could prevent powermail from showing the field?

env: typo3 11.5.x powermail: 10.7.0 system type: TER

the extension we are having issue with: https://github.com/captcha-eu/typo3-powermail (also tried other extensions that should show up a new field; https://github.com/in2code-de/invisiblerecaptcha; also no success)
