request for: prebuild deb files in a ppa or at https://github.com/imsnif/bandwhich/releases

It would be useful to have prebuild deb packges. So people can install it without having to compile it.

• Packages can be either distributed at https://github.com/imsnif/bandwhich/releases
• or packages can be distributed in a ppa at https://launchpad.net .

Hey, I have no objection to this (or to the similar issue opened in diskonaut), but unfortunately I do not have a lot of time to do any sort of change or review work in either of these repositories at the moment. If this can be done without it, I'm all for it. :)

There have been some attempts to package bandwhich in the main debian repositories, but I think there are some issues with rust packaging for debian at the moment. You can follow more here (and maybe pick up the work if you feel like it): https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=949575
