Can't download region-locked videos from YouTube

An error occurs trying to download videos from the "Men Without Hats - Topic" channel. This was tested with "The Safety Dance" (https://youtu.be/nft1OVNLM7A), "All Into Stars" (https://youtu.be/sbSupcsaT80), and every other video I personally tried. There don't seem to be any issues with videos from other "Topic" channels, like https://youtu.be/w44au_CEfmI.

some videos are region-locked, and therefore impossible to download in some countries. server that cobalt is hosted on happens to be located in one of those countries :(

there's not really anything i can do aside from tunneling traffic through an american vpn server if this specific error occurs
