Local processing crashes the tab on a Chromebook
bug description
hello, I am not all expert with the coding stuff and all etc, but since the new update and adding the (processing queue) many of my links (don't download) and this only started happening after the update with the processioning queue stuff BEFORE they I could easily paste the link and everything would be automated and download it my computer and a lot of times when I that my entire cobalt screen goes grey similar too when's there's no internet and it says the AW SNAP thing,
reproduction steps
1.copy youtube link 2.paste
screenshots
No response
links
platform information
Chromebook
additional context
this all started after this processing queue update stuff which I don't see a reason for since before this I could download files way faster and this actually takes up more time since its basically trying to be the computers job when actually downloading to the device which the computer is way better and faster at
hey, is your chromebook up to date? can you check the chrome version? it seems like cobalt runs out of ram, which shouldn’t happen if your device supports OPFS. also, do you have enough free storage?
yes I'm back and I've tried and actually updated my Chromebook and my store is also completely fine but the same problem exists I casually pasted a YouTube shorts link and my page went blank again after going through the processing queue with the AW SNAP thing again and this happens very frequently about 70% of the time since the new update
The same thing has been happening on my Chromebook, I hope this is fixed soon.
i think chromebooks are just not powerful enough to handle this
If this is all you have to say after almost 2 weeks of not replying then you guys are just disappointing tbh, and also like a said 9MY CHROEMBOOK WORKED PERFECTLY WITH COBALT BEFORE THE UPDATE AND STILL DOES AFTER) my problems are with the processing que and and this comes when i try to download YOUTUBE VIDEOS THAT'S WHERE THE PROBLEM IS, obviously many other people are com apling about the same problems going on with youtube but trying to blame my chromebook which is perfectly welland updated etc is just sad and shows you put no effort into the problem i'm giving thats on the website because if your gonna say something stupid like that you might as well say cobalt doesn't work on phone either (just) because the device is small, mind you once again I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING ANYTHING ON COBALT SINCE THIS UPDATE AND IT ONLY ACTS UP WHEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD YT VIDEOS.

- this is terrible to read due to lack of punctuation marks and a nasty tone, are you 5 years old?
- we don’t have any chromebooks on hand so we can’t test exactly why this happens. you can disable local processing in settings if it doesn’t work at all: https://cobalt.tools/settings/local#media-processing, though the toggle to turn it off may be removed in the future
to start i am not 5 years old and u really cant be mad at my tone knowing its been 6+ DAYS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE, and it's so crazy that now you can reply within a few minutes giving me a link etc towards my problems with cobalt all a sudden but couldn't reply for a entire week
