Cobalt is not downloading videos completely

  2. Paste the link
  3. Click on download button

Idk, i downloaded everything normally for days, but yesterday the error just started

i also had this issue. ~2 hr video and it only downloaded the first 6 minutes from youtube.

Tried to download ~30min video from cobalt.tools in Firefox in 1080p, first try downloaded only 16 minutes, second - 21 minutes.

Was able to replicate this issue consistently using this video. Would sometimes only download the first 40-ish seconds, or would make it 6-8 minutes in then abruptly stop. Using auto mode for all of this.

Firefox Rev 134.0.1 64-bit Fedora Linux 41 Kernel Rev 6.12.9-200.fc41.x86_64

do y'all even search before opening an issue? as it was said many times: enable hls in settings > video, then try again

the issue has been fixed! there's no need to enable hls, it'll work as-is. if it doesn't, make a new issue.
