Can you confirm that that this script removes trailing whitespace from all lines in the file, not just the ones you changed.

I'd suggest that only changed lines should get trailing whitespace removed to avoid extra noise in pull requests.

Regardless of which way it is, we could indicate this in the README.md.

Also, it would be great to document on the behavior for partial commits.
