Confirm, I do have exactly the same issue on Android App for a couple of months. I have Whatsapp Images directory with 5303 images inside but only 1695 is being counted and synced by the App. When I copy-paste one of these images - copy is successfully synced with the server. Not sure for 100% but it looks like all new photos added to that directory are being synced.

My current workaround suggestion would be moving all the photos to server manually and then bulk upload them via CLI.

mosalski avatar Jul 06 '23 11:07 mosalski

Hello, can you try clear the app cache or reinstall the app to see if it would fix the issue?

alextran1502 avatar Jul 06 '23 11:07 alextran1502

I already tried to reinstall even the docker, tried to make new user aswell

BeeTwenty avatar Jul 06 '23 11:07 BeeTwenty

@alextran1502 Deleted app cache and data, then reinstalled the app. After entering server address and access data, entered backup settings in mobile App. Now it calculates and syncs correctly.

I guess that error might happen when uploading lots of photos to the server initially and maybe switching between manual/background sync. I will let you know if that bug will appear again. Any case, app data&cache deletion is an easy and effective solution for me, thank you!

@BeeTwenty I did server reinstall, deleted files and volume as well but it seems not to be a server issue at all. It looks like to be a bug related with Android App and can be easily solved.

Is this supposed to be fixed in the latest release (1.84.0)? Because I still see the issue. Or do I need to clean data or cache?
