Bug Report: iOS App 1.134 no longer auto-detects new photos in selected system albums
I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.
- [x] Yes
The bug
After updating the iOS app from version 1.132 to 1.134, the automatic detection of new photos added to the selected system album no longer works. Previously, when new photos were added (e.g., via iCloud sync), Immich would detect and back them up in real time. Now, the app only updates after manually refreshing the album or restarting the app.

Even thought Apple silicon made this possible to run iOS app on Mac, we've never built the app to handle this use case. I wonder if Apple has changed something with the data flow

Would it be possible to consider adding an setting option for Foreground Backup to check for new photos or videos in the selected album(s) in real time, instead of only checking when the app is opened or resumed?
