Why did imgbot delete my readme in it's PR?

The commit shows up as being authored by me and committed by imgbot. This seems related to my last actual commit in the repo - https://github.com/yashovardhan99/ComposeWeather/commit/295c106241558b9ee6adfa74785e7618e80b053f where I had added a few GIFs and linked them from the readme.
Can't understand what's wrong here. The repo doesn't have any custom imgbot configuration either.
Possibly related, after I reverted this PR and merged another imgbot PR (where 1 file was reduced). Imgbot started another PR - https://github.com/yashovardhan99/ComposeWeather/pull/4 and then closed it in 2 mins.
Can you please provide some steps on how to replicate the case with our commit removing files ? Or at least a more detailed description of how this happened for your repository as it is hard to debug the issue since we can not replicate it on any other repositories ?
It was a random issue for me as well and I haven't faced anything similar since. I don't recall the exact details of this issue now since its been quite a while. However please try going through the commits/PRs I linked and see if you can notice anything odd which will trigger such a behavior?
