15" 2015 macbook pro - bottom and rightside edges of trackpad are slightly bugged

Describe the bug I'm not sure the best way to describe this issue, you have to feel it to understand. The bottom ~10% of the trackpad only moves the cursor left and right, and the ~10% right edge only moves the cursor up or down. It's almost like the fully functional area of the trackpad is physically smaller, cropped slightly to the top left.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Use a 2015 15" macbook pro (it could be any of the 15" models, or only those of the retina generation, i really don't know. The only point of comparison I have is that the issue doesn't occur on my 2014 13" MBP nor my 2010 13" white macbook).
2. install windows 10 and all necessary updates, bootcamp drivers, etc
3. install the ptp driver
4. use the trackpad, touching the bottom edge and right edge and observe the odd behavior

Expected behavior

• the expected behavior is that every inch of the trackpad is fully operable and able to move the cursor in any direction / on any axis.
