How can I ensure myself and my workplace that this is safe to install? I need to gain approval to install this and I am just looking for a way in which it can be justified. Ignorant question coming up: Can open source code be run through a checker to prove it is all good?

The best way is to look through each line and try to find malicious code ...or feed it to ChatGPT and expect it to spit out a decent answer 🙃
