Opening multichannel tile scans results in tile rearrangement

Open sjmurphy1994 opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

imagej I used a Ziess confocal to take a 3 channel tile scan and proceeded to stitch the tiles on Zen. Upon opening in ImageJ, I use hyperstack, spilt channels and stitch tiles (sometimes I leave this off since they're already stitched but the problem is the same either way). When the images load, they are distorted and only half the image appears with other tiles from the scan (some repeats) appearing in other parts of the window (see screenshot for example).

I've reinstalled the program (Windows 64) and nothing changed. The tiles arrange differently with each new image and some open just fine. I also tried this using the MacOS 64 version on my macbook and everything was fine.

@sjmurphy1994 this sounds like an issue with the Bio-Formats library (although I'm puzzled why the same file should open differently on Windows and on Mac OSX). Can you please post on https://forum.image.sc in the Usage & Issues category, adding the tags bio-formats and imagej? Ideally you also upload a sample .czi file, so that the developers can reproduce the issue.
