Syntax highlighting on live site is less colorful than GitHub preview

Questions to investigate:

  • Which syntax highlighting technology and color theme is used on the live site for code fenced code blocks? (Hint. What if we use fruity instead?)
  • What does GitHub use in the Preview pane, and is there any way to use that with Jekyll as well?
