Pesterchum won't open.
I have had pesterchum for a while now, and it suddenly will not open. I had tried redownloading multiple times, and have restarted my computer. I did run the debug as well, and this is what I get.
Must've selected the private one on accident: Here you go: http://pastebin.com/sNy69rVx
From what I can see, it cannot find the wolvenHale
profile. I guess it got corrupted.
Try creating the wolvenHale.js
file in the C:\\Users\\Kpl41\\AppData\\Local\\pesterchum/profiles/
directory, and start pesterchum.
I don't know if it will work though.
I did that, and it worked! Thank you so much.
@wolvenHale Thank the developers for making nice error messages, it made the job feel like cake.
It seems like I am having the same exact problem. I haven't quite figured out how the debug file works because I am new to computers. I made the new profile and deleted the peseterchum.js, but still nothing. What should I do?
Generally this is caused by one of your profile configurations becoming corrupted. you can try making a backup of your profiles, then deleting them and running PC to see if it works

A backup? Sorry I'm new and I'm pretty..not smart when it comes to backing up the files themselves. How does one do it if I may ask? @illuminatedwax
You can just copy the folders and paste them in a different folder on your computer, one way you can do it is make a new folder in your desktop.

Alright so I made the folders, now I just have to delete the original one correct? I apologize..I'm really slow and get lost REALLY easily.
Well I'm a little hesitant to have you do it because I'm not sure you are deleting the right files. What files are you deleting?

The ones where you have to download for your save files. I just copied them and pasted it into a separate folder. Basically the pesterchumsavedata folder I'm thinking about deleting.
@illuminatedwax Is there anyway I could contact you so you would be able to guide me through? Reading via text is quite troubling for me without like an IRL talk over the call or so.
