Pesterchum closes immeadiately on startup

The program appears in the list of running programs for a fraction of a second before disappearing. The window and icon never appear. I am using the most current update of Windows 10. Neither reinstalling, nor restarting fix the problem.

A number of other people who are using the same version are not having this problem, but I don't know if they have the most recent version of Windows 10 or something else. I can update this with more information if necessary or if I find anything.
