Pesterchum is not opening properly

I downloaded pesterchum and it worked perfectly fine until it told me someone took my chumhandle, i had one of my friends message the person who took it and it turns out no one did. I had to delete it because I didnt know how to get the chumhandle back, and when I redownloaded it, it would just show the little loading circle next to the mouse and stop. If anyone could help me fix it I would appreciate it D:
